SMARTSTART Presented at the International Conference “It’s About People”

On March 16, 2026, the SMARTSTART project was presented at the international conference “It’s About People”, as part of the Health Science session—offering a valuable platform to share the project’s vision, goals, and activities with a wider professional audience.
The presentation attracted more than 60 participants, including researchers, educators, and health professionals, all engaged in discussions on innovation in health and education. SMARTSTART was showcased as an example of how integrating movement into early childhood education can contribute to both physical and cognitive development, while supporting long-term health outcomes.
This dissemination opportunity played an important role in:
- strengthening visibility of the project at the international level,
- fostering new collaborations and professional connections, and
- raising awareness about the importance of motor-cognitive approaches in early childhood.
The session also opened space for dialogue with experts from different fields, reinforcing the project’s interdisciplinary relevance and its potential for broader impact across Europe.
