NEUROSTEPS presented at the International Conference “It’s About People”

On March 16, 2026, the KA182 Mobility in Sport project was presented at the international conference “It’s About People”, within the Health Science session.
The project, led by the Association No Brain No gain and implemented in collaboration with AETOI Thessaloniki as the hosting organisation, was introduced to an international audience of more than 60 participants, including professionals from the fields of sport, education, and health.
The presentation focused on the project’s core objective: to enhance the competencies of trainers in delivering high-quality, inclusive sport activities for people with special needs. Through international mobility, the project enables participants to gain practical experience, exchange knowledge, and learn innovative approaches in adapted physical activity.
A key outcome of this initiative is to ensure that trained professionals can transfer knowledge back to Slovenia, contributing to the development and implementation of inclusive sport programmes at the local level. This creates a sustainable impact by strengthening capacity within the organisation and improving access to quality sport activities for people with special needs.
This dissemination opportunity contributed to:
- strengthening the international visibility of the project,
- promoting the importance of mobility and knowledge exchange in sport, and
- fostering new connections for future collaboration.
The session provided a valuable platform to highlight how international cooperation can support more inclusive and accessible sport environments across Europe.
