TEJA CRETNIK
A graduate kinesiologist with a passion for promoting health, well-being, and inclusivity through physical activity. Her undergraduate thesis explored the impact of active breaks on the health of office workers, highlighting her commitment to addressing contemporary lifestyle challenges. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Physical Education to deepen her expertise in sports science and education.
During her studies, she earned several professional certifications, including:
· Yoga Instructor
· Children’s Fairy Tale Yoga Instructor
· Acro Yoga Instructor
· Swimming Instructor
Currently, she works as a Physical Education Teacher at the Secondary School of Economics and Business in Koper, where she motivates and educates students on the importance of physical activity and overall well-being.
She also made significant contributions to the “BRAIN” project (Beyond sport through a ‘No Brain, No Gain’ project, ID=101089506), an Erasmus+ Sport initiative. As part of the project, she conducted multisensory workshops for children, skillfully adapting her expertise to engage both typically developing children and those with mild disabilities. These workshops emphasized inclusivity and creativity, using innovative approaches to foster cognitive and motor development in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Her dedication to education, inclusivity, and innovation in physical activity positions her as a versatile and impactful professional in the fields of kinesiology and sports education.
