SUCCESSFUL JOB SHADOWING IN THESSALONIKI

Our PR and dissemination expert, Špela Majcen, has successfully completed a job shadowing placement at AETOI Thessaloniki, focusing on strengthening her expertise in developing and communicating policy papers that address the needs of children with mild disabilities.

This mobility experience helped Špela refine her ability to craft clear, impactful messages tailored to different audiences, ensuring that the results and added value of EU policies are effectively communicated at national, regional, and local levels.

During the placement, Špela worked toward several key objectives:

· observing how policy recommendations are aligned with broader EU strategies supporting children with disabilities,

· gaining practical insights into preparing high-quality policy papers and applying targeted advocacy communication,

· participating in multi-channel communication and dissemination strategies,

· collaborating on content development for project websites and outreach materials.

Špela’s job shadowing marks an important step in strengthening the Association’s capacity for high-quality communication, advocacy, and policy impact.
