The Sports Development Strategy of the Municipality of Piran was successfully presented at the 28th regular session of the Piran Municipal Council, held on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Domenico Tintoretto Hall.

The presentation highlighted the key objectives and strategic directions aimed at strengthening the role of sports in the local community, enhancing participation among all age groups, and improving collaboration between sports clubs, educational institutions, and tourism stakeholders.

After a constructive discussion, the Municipal Council members unanimously adopted the strategy, confirming a shared commitment to the sustainable and inclusive development of sports in the municipality.
