URŠA KOSIČ
A graduate kinesiologist with a focus on child motor development, Urša Kosič completed her thesis on quantitative and qualitative methods for developing motor skills in young children, reflecting her deep interest in applying research to support early childhood growth. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Physical Education to broaden her expertise in sports pedagogy and motor development.
Throughout her studies, she earned multiple professional certifications, including:
· Group Exercise Instructor
· Athletics Coach
· Swimming Instructor
Currently employed as a Physical Education Teacher at the Postojna School Center, she designs dynamic and engaging physical education programs that foster motor skills and promote overall physical health among students.
“BRAIN” project (Beyond sport through a ‘No Brain, No Gain’ project, ID=101089506), an Erasmus+ Sport initiative, Urša Kosič played a key role in developing activities that integrate cognitive and physical development. She worked on creating inclusive exercises tailored to children, supporting both typically developing children and those with mild disabilities to enhance their physical and cognitive abilities in a fun, multisensory environment.
With her passion for child development and her strong foundation in kinesiology, Urša Kosič brings innovative and inclusive approaches to physical education, helping to shape the next generation’s growth and well-being.
